The goal of the project is to promote philanthropy, encourage the development of corporate philanthropy and multi-sectoral approach and to develop the capacity of local civil society organizations for contributing philanthropy in local communities.

A number of activities aimed at promoting philanthropy in the public will be carried out including the marking of "Philanthropy Day". An important part of the project is focused on activities of informal education that includes a series of workshops on different topics and for different target groups, from those aimed at civil society (preparation of the annual budget of civil society organizations, innovative forms of fund raising, social innovation, crowd funding, promotion of social network) to those concentrating on businesses and entrepreneurs (themes such as corporate philanthropy, socially responsible business). Educational and informational component of the project includes making several publications (themes: tax framework for citizens’ and legal entities’ donations, innovative forms of corporate philanthropy). In addition, a competition for innovative projects for the development of the local community for civil society organizations in Istria and Primorje-Gorski Kotar County will be carried out.
