The aim: To support active participation of citizens to the EU democratic life and through the innovative and non-formal education method, the Theatre of the oppressed, public discussions, media promotion, involvement of kindergartners and many other activities. Generally, the A.C.E. project is designed to provide citizens with a real opportunity to actively interact at local and European level. Participating directly to their communities’ life and taking action to tackle related issues, citizens will foster their sense of ownership of the EU and maturate awareness on the role they can play in the Union democratic life. This project’s effort will be to enable and facilitate the EU integration process, by sharing knowledge, experience and best practices in order to stimulate partners’ interest in joining the Union and exploitation of the Europe for Citizens programme. It will contribute to the construction of the democratic and world-oriented Europe, proud of its cultural diversity.

The project team is formed of 7 partners from 7 countries with various skills and best practices to contribute to the project but also from countries with the lowest turnout for EU elections.
