The interest and dissemination of artistic activity is the basis of ‘Artefatto’, a project in which young people have already highlighted the specific difficulties to transform the artistic passion into a source of income and employment. The project responds effectively to the needs of young people, who express themselves through languages and forms of art, by offering them exhibition spaces, visibility, along with a range of opportunities of job learning, career development, and leadership development, which are particularly difficult to acquire in this context. It provides an interface between young people and the operators of the art sector promotes the excellence and supports the growth and development of the individual talents. To encourage young people’s skills and their employability, the project organizes training courses, hospitality, mobility and exchanges related to artistic professions. Moreover the project will enlarge its area of activity including more stakeholders, market oriented subjects, and increasing the possibility of getting funds. The project’s network organizes activities in each partner’s cities, to which can participate and meet groups of young people, promoting the European cooperation in the youth field. The project will represents also a capacity building action for civil society organisations’ participant concerning the relation between youth needs and interests and the art world.
