School for education of children with special needs gets a new decoration with a secret meaning

Foundation for Partnership and Civil Society Development donated a large drawing "Valeria's Park" on January 28th to the School for education of children with special needs.

The interesting thing about it, in addition to it being a part of a great interactive exhibition #philanthropy ...? held in October 2016, is in the fact that it was colored by the hands of thousands of visitors. In fact, anyone who has visited the exhibition could use the oil pastel and paint a part of the drawing and contribute to the common work of art. The idea follows the main message of the exhibition on philanthropy, and that is that no one can do everything, but everyone can do something, and  with the small deeds we can contribute to a greater good. The drawing was both painted by adults and children, and now it hangs on a wall in the entrance hall of the School. Thus, the message of charity and community continue its journey to the citizens, particulary children. In addition to the drawing, were donated other materials from the creative corners of the exhibition, which children will be able to use at the school.

Director of the School, Ms. Visnja Popovic, expressed her satisfaction with the cooperation: "It is really wonderful to see the work created together by all the visitors of the exhibition. Our children were also a part of it and are really happy it is now on the wall of our school."
