Through Active in the community programe an unique workshop was held in Mrkopalj
Last weekend, a unique workshop for beginners called "Felting & Wine" was held in Mrkopalj. This event was organized by Lorena, a participant of the Active in the community Academy, together with the youth CSO "Malo po malo" Mrkopalj, with the aim of encouraging intergenerational exchange of knowledge and creativity. The process was guided by local wool artisans from Mrkopalj, and the organizers provided all the necessary materials.
The goal of the workshop was not only to offer an opportunity to learn new skills but also to foster intergenerational dialogue and collaboration. The combination of felting, an ancient wool-processing technique, and wine tasting created the perfect opportunity for socializing and learning.
The "Felting & Wine" workshop was an excellent example of how social programs can encourage intergenerational cooperation and understanding. The youth CSO "Malo po malo" Mrkopalj deserves high praise for organizing this event, which brought people together, inspired creativity, and strengthened the community.
We look forward to future events and new opportunities for gathering and collaboration that promote the development of an active community.
