Objectives and results of the action: The aim of the project is to reflect and emphasize social issues through the use of multimedia with the focus on youth unemployment in the frame of actual socio-economic situation in the EU. We want to explore and show problems and potentials related to this theme. In concrete different groups of young person’s will prepare short movies about the theme. An experienced team of trainers will guide them through the process of brainstorming about the connected themes, preparing the scenarios, meeting with other persons and making the multimedia production. The final product of the project will be 6 movies that will show young person’s point of view, problems and solutions to the actual socio-economic problems. The activity will be organized in a nice city of the Slovenian coast – Koper. There will be 20 young persons, 5 from each organization. Participants will spend together eight intensive days, from 17th to 25th September 2012, first by learning basics about social issues and about recording with camera and editing, and then by working together arranged into five smaller groups to produce a short movies in fiction, documentary or article form. At the end participants will present the short movies to the local community.
