Philanthropy day / Philanthropy Week
As a part of the project “Supportive and sustainable communities” funded by EU and co-funded by the Government Office for Cooperation with NGOs, the Foundation and its project partners organized several “Philanthropy Days”.
“Philanthropy Day" events aimed at raising public awareness about philanthropy, about what it represents and its importance for society today. For all passers-by, on public grounds in 4 cities (Karlovac, Gospić, Rijeka and Pula) a campaign was held as a public action with a clear message "Get out of the labyrinth of self-love, and be a part of Philanthropy day." Implementation of this action was conducted by the Centre for Civic Initiatives Poreč in collaboration with artists Barbara Galant and Nataša Martinčić – Marijana.
“Philanthropy Days” formed part of the Philanthropy Week, which took place for the first in Croatia in 2016. Organizer of the Week was the National Foundation for Civil Society Development and the European Foundation for philanthropy and social development, with the co-organizers: „Zamah“ Regional Foundation for Local Development, „Slagalica“ Community Foundation and Foundation „Kajo Dadić“.
