INFO days 2023 for Civil Society Organizations in Istria were succefully held

 Foundation Istria organized Info Days 2023 for CSOs again this year, from November 27th to December 1st.

Info Days are intended for all CSOs in the Istrian County, their members, and other civil society organizations, as well as those interested in the civil sector, anyone considering starting a CSO and becoming active in society through the work of an CSO, and institutions and organizations, local government units that collaborate with CSOs or want to create joint projects with associations.

During the last week of November, Doundation Istria provided informational support to members and leaders of CSOs in the form of individual consultations. Anyone interested could schedule a meeting with the Foundation's directress to receive necessary information and advice. Additionally, this year's Info Days aimed to support new, inexperienced members of CSOs who are just beginning or wanting to start applying for and implementing EU projects. For this purpose, a workshop titled "How to Prepare European Projects for CSOs" was held at our premises (Riva 8, Pula). The workshop aimed to strengthen the internal capacities of CSOs. Five individuals from three civil sector organizations attended the workshop. Participants were thoroughly acquainted with the process of applying for European Union tenders, potential problems during the application process, and solutions.

The Foundation, as part of the Info Point for CSOs, continues to provide continuous education, information, and empowerment to associations in the Istria County. We invite all interested parties to contact us with questions and doubts, as well as to suggest topics for future Info Days.
