The Foundation participated in the 1st transnational meeting of the project „+Resilient“

Foundation representatives were participating at a three-day kick-off meeting, the first transnational meeting of the project "+ REsilient: Open Resources for the Mediterranean for Social Innovation and Socially Responsible Entrepreneurship". At a meeting held in Venice from 27 to 29 June 2018, goals, results, working groups and work plan for project implementation were presented, and all partners have the opportunity to get acquainted with the details of the project implementation but also to meet and get know each other.

Overall, the project involves 14 partners from 8 Mediterranean countries coming from different sectors to join forces and support the use of social innovations for better local community development. The main objective of the project is to foster a process of public policy change, to foster social innovation and to form clusters of social responsibility and responsiveness in order to respond more effectively to social needs and positively impact smart growth and development by increasing the number of jobs (by employing marginalized groups), companies and by creating policies that will enable the above mentioned issues.
The project is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund and IPA funds under the Interreg Mediterranean Programme, and it is worth 3,278,529.80€.

The project will be also presented in Pula, where more information and details will be exposed to all interested parties. Concrete activities in our region will begin in autumn.
