When we join forces, we can shape an environment where everyone grows, learns, and builds a better future. Do you have an idea for a positive change in your community but don’t know where to start?

Creating positive change in the community begins with mobilizing people. Small actions, such as organizing volunteer initiatives, founding clubs and associations, and advocating for community interests, can lead to significant results. It is essential to encourage active participation by organizing meetings, workshops, and events that allow all community members to voice their opinions and take part in decision-making. We invite you to join the Active in the Community program and become a wave of positive change. This program is an ideal opportunity for those who want to gain knowledge and tools to turn their idea from an initiative into concrete action.

• The Active in the Community training will be held online throughout March and April 2025 in two modules, accompanied by weekly interactive assignments. A particularly important part of the program will be the final gathering of all participants at the Arena in Pula, where you will have the opportunity to network and exchange experiences with others. A surprise guest lecturer will also be waiting for you in Pula!

Throughout the implementation of your social initiatives, Zaklada Istra – Fondazione Istria will be by your side, providing ongoing mentorship and support in addition to educational sessions.

Participation is open to individuals from the following five counties: Istria, Primorje-Gorski Kotar, Karlovac, Sisak-Moslavina, and Krapina-Zagorje.
