Final conference of the project "Youth in the (local) programme of the City of Pula-Pola"

On Tuesday, February 28th 2024, the final conference of the "Youth in the (local) programme of the City of Pula-Pola 2024-2027" was held at Coworking Pula. The event was attended by young people, decision-makers, representatives of institutions, and civil society organizations.

At the final conference of the project "Youth in the (Local) Program of the City of Pula-Pola," Ivana Sokolov, Head of the Department for Social Activities, Youth, and Sports, greeted all attendees on behalf of the City of Pula. She also detailed and presented the Draft Youth Program for the City of Pula-Pola. Aleksandra Švast from the Agency for Mobility and EU Programs introduced the Agency and the youth program. The conference continued with a round table discussion on the topic "What's Next? Youth in the City of Pula: Situation, Future, and Vision for Development." The panelists were Elvira Krizmanić Marjanović, Deputy Head of the Department for Social Activities, Youth, and Sports, Dr. Ivica Šain, Specialist in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, Nino Šarić, President of the Youth Council of the City of Pula - Pola, and Katharina Mikulić from the ZUM CSO.

The final conference was an excellent opportunity to present the final Draft of the Local Youth Program for the City of Pula - Pola 2024-2027 and to familiarize all interested parties with its content. The program is a strategic document that will guide youth policies and activities in the city of Pula over the next four years, and we are happy that Foundation Istria was a project partner and involved in almost all of the project's activities. 

E-Consultations are in Progress

In accordance with Article 11 of the Law on the Right to Access Information (Official Gazette No. 85/15, 69/22), the City of Pula-Pola commenced Public Consultations on February 26, 2024, with the aim of informing the wider public and gathering opinions, comments, and suggestions on the Draft Local Youth Program for the City of Pula-Pola 2024-2027.

These consultations will be conducted from February 26, 2024, until March 27, 2024.
