Workshop on innovative funding forms for NGOs

The Foundation for partnership and civil society development organized a workshop on "Innovative forms of funding for youth associations and associations who deal with young people" at the living room of the Social Centre Rojc on Friday 7th of September.

The workshop was led by Teo Petričević from ACT group, who through very concrete examples explained different innovative forms of financing and offered other points of view to achieve financial independence. NGOs present in our Region should join in greater number workshops of this type avoiding dependence on public budgets and restrictive tenders that cause the financial instability of the association often leading to the closure of the same or to the decrease of activity and assistance to users.

The Foundation, through the SOS project, will encourage young people working in the civil sector to actively engage in the development of their own NGOs in order to contribute to the sustainable development of the civil sector. The workshop held as part of the SOS project, funded by the European Social Fund, will be repeated, hoping that the next time more people and associations will participate.
