Purchased equipment for the project "STEM Association for Popular STEM"

As part of the project "STEM Association for Popular STEM" over 130,000.00 euros worth of equipment was purchased for associated STEM partners: Technical Culture Association Pula, Mathematical Society "Istra", Society for Robotics Istra and  Maritime Education Center.

Among other things, the following were acquired: a meteorological station, various models of renewable energy sources (windmill, water mill, house with solar panel, smart bench), various exhibits of the Science Park (Musical Fence, Flowing Pythagoras, Adaptation Spiral, Cartoon Kindergarten)  and consumable material for the implementation of interactive STEM workshops.

There are still final works remaining on the decoration of the "Science Garden". In the spring we will start with numerous interesting activities intended primarily for children and young people, aiming to popularize science and the STEM field.

The total value of the project "STEM Association for Popular STEM" is 2,462,021.59 HRK, out of which 2,092,718.35 HRK was co-financed by the European Union from the European Social Fund. The project is co-financed by the Office for NGOs of the Government of the Republic of Croatia. The content of this text is the sole responsibility of the Foundation Istria.
