First step for the opening of the Regional Center for Social Innovations

Yesterday was held a meeting at the Centre for the Popularization of Science in the Region of Istria, Pula, in cooperation with representatives of educational institutions, Istrian Development Agency, Metris and Croatian Chamber of Trades and Crafts. The introduction discourse was held by Mirna Karzen from the „Laboratory for Social Innovations“ from Zagreb. Mrs. Karzen explained what are social innovations, how are they created, legally regulation and ultimately she explained the concepts with a lot off examples from best practice. It was concluded that the activities for making conditions for opening the Regional Center for Social Innovations should be continuing because it's a really needed activity for the development of our communities.
