"Liberating Structures" workshop as part of the Info Point for CSOs in Istria program
The Foundation is organizing the "Liberating Structures" workshop as part of the Info Point for CSOs in Istria program. The workshop will be led by Nenad Maljković, a group process facilitator and permaculture practitioner, member of the Croatian Permaculture Association and the international cooperative Greaterthan Collective.
What are Liberating Structures?
Liberating Structures is a collection of 33 facilitation methods designed to enhance collaboration, engagement, and innovation within groups. These methods allow for equal participation of all attendees, whether in-person or via videoconference, fostering inclusivity, creativity, and collective idea generation. Developed by Henri Lipmanowicz and Keith McCandless, they are widely used in organizational development, agile teams, education, and community work.
What to expect at the workshop?
- Introduction to the Liberating Structures framework
- Overview of their microstructures and ten key principles
- Hands-on experience with several Liberating Structures through interactive exercises

The workshop is open to CSO representatives, as well as members of the business and public sectors, but priority will be given to CSO representatives and members from the Istria County area.
