Announcing the "Conference ‘NGO – Challenges of the 21st Century’: Focus on Building a Resilient Civil Society through Collaboration"

Authentic Discussions, Great Energy, and a Chance to Meet the Game Changers – No Filters, No Sugarcoating at the Zaklada Istra Conference!

Today’s press conference officially announced the upcoming event: "NGO – Challenges of the 21st Century," which will take place on Friday, November 29, 2024, in the relaxed atmosphere of The Shipyard Pub in Pula. This is not just another event – it’s an opportunity for all those who want to listen, share ideas, and discuss how organizations in the Istrian County can operate more effectively and sustainably. Together, we will explore ways to empower communities and ignite new, creative projects that can enhance our daily work and lives.

The diverse and dynamic program includes panel discussions, motivational speeches, and educational workshops, providing participants not only with new knowledge but also opportunities to exchange ideas and connect with colleagues from various sectors. The conference will bring together over 20 experts and representatives from the civil sector to engage in crucial discussions about the future of NGOs.

In the spirit of open and honest dialogue, the conference will begin with the panel discussion: "Unfiltered: The NGO Crisis" – an honest, raw conversation about the current challenges and difficulties facing the civil society sector, with no embellishments or “filters.” The goal is to address real problems while also proposing solutions or at least strategies for organizations to adapt to the changing landscape.

Throughout the afternoon, participants will have the chance to listen to various panelists on topics such as:

New Trends in Marketing – Better Opportunities for NGOs?

Beyond networking, the conference also focuses on education. Key sessions include a short lecture on AI in the nonprofit sector – "AI & NGOs… Yes, but how?" – and two motivational talks designed to inspire and empower attendees:

"Balancing Work, Life... and Volunteering?"

The event will conclude with a special panel discussion with media representatives, titled "Beer with the Media," offering NGOs a chance to connect with journalists and gain insights on how to improve collaboration with the media.
